Ducted HVAC for five school offices

Trident was engaged by Watershed Group to install a new ducted air conditioning system for five small office spaces at Northcote Primary School Office HVAC Upgrade during the school holidays. The project delivered a complete heating and cooling solution to offices that previously had no air conditioning, creating a comfortable working environment for staff throughout the year.

A Panasonic 12kW ducted system was selected for its proven reliability and performance. Each office was fitted with its own supply and return air grille, while a central controller provides simple operation for staff. The outdoor unit was installed on a heavy-duty wall bracket to provide a secure, level mounting solution while allowing easy access for future servicing and maintenance. A lockable security cage was also fitted to protect the unit and meet Ministry of Education requirements.

Working within an existing lined GIB ceiling and a tight school holiday programme required careful planning and attention to detail. Grilles were positioned to blend seamlessly into the ceiling, ductwork was neatly suspended within the roof space, and the entire project was completed in-house by Trident, including all HVAC and electrical works. The result is a clean, professional installation that delivers reliable year-round comfort and reflects the high standard of workmanship Trident brings to every commercial project.
